Moving House?

Relocate and Save

Consider your options when
moving home.

Let the new owners have the
added protection of a Chubb
alarm system.

If you purchase a new alarm system for your home Chubb will
decommission your old system for free.

Over 3 million individuals* move home each year.  If this applies to you, you may want to consider your options.

Option 1: Remove and reinstall your alarm system at your new house.
Advantage: You don't have to pay for a new alarm system.
Disadvantage: The system may not be compatible with your new house, for example when moving from a single storey to a multi level home. Call us to confirm if your system panel is compatible.

Option 2: Transfer the remaining term of your monitoring contract over to the purchaser
Advantages: There are no decommissioning or termination fees to pay and the purchaser will receive three months free monitoring. It also adds value to your sale. Call us to arrange this.
Disadvantage: You won't have an alarm panel to take to your new house.

Option 3: Purchase a new system for your new house
Advantage: You may qualify for a loyalty discount. You also won't pay early termination fees and we will decommission your old system for free. You will also have the opportunity to upgrade to the latest technology when installing an approved alarm system from Chubb for your new house.
Disadvantage: There will be a capital investment for your new alarm panel. Ask us about our easy payment plans.

Option 4: Decommission the alarm panel
Advantage: You won't have any liability for alarm related phone call charges.
Disadvantage: You won't have an on-going back to base monitoring security service any more. In some cases there will also be an early termination cost and a decommissioning fee.
